Both parents are business owners, are we are very passionate about what we do. This naturally makes it very difficult to manage various home responsibilities on top of giving our girl the care she needs when we're home. A caregiver who is able to help with house care is a huge plus - tasks like washing bottles, putting away dishes, washing dishes, tending to our dog, folding clothes, making grocery lists and preparing dinner would be invaluable to our family and our lifestyle. The demands of being both the attentive parents and the business leaders we strive to be, often results in us putting our own personal needs aside. Healthy meals and help at home would be so greatly appreciated! We have one 4-month-old girl. She's giggly, smiley, and full of positive energy! We feel beyond blessed to be her parents! She is used to spending all of her time with one-on-one attention. We expect that the caregiver will stay in tune with her general demeanor, understand sleep and hunger cues, etc to keep her feeling happy, safe and loved! Our child is currently 4 months and is learning every day! The caregiver will be expected to support her growth and development with age appropriate activities in the home. We do not want her watching TV or getting familiar with the noises and screens of other electronics as she grows. Toys will be provided and we are open to discussing what activities feel appropriate for her age. Our house has plenty of parking, and it is expected that the caregiver has a reliable mode of transportation to arrive each day. Caregiver will not be expected to drive our child anywhere. We expect the caregiver to remain at home with child all day. We have one dog. Josie is a 4-year-old silver lab, and still has the energy of a puppy. She is so excited to make friends with everyone that comes to our house, but we really need someone who is comfortable with her level of excitement. She has a tendency to jump on guests when they arrive, and is used to getting all the love and attention. Now that we have a small child, we need someone who can be patient with Josie not being the "only child" anymore! We live on a busy road, so the ideal caregiver will be comfortable with taking her outside on a prong collar when she needs to pee/poo. She also loves barking at the delivery person- but settles back to her daytime naps quickly!
