About the job
We are seeking a compassionate & reliable live-in support person in a home . This position is ideal for one individual or shared between two caregivers, each working 3-4 days per week. Our home provides a supportive living environment for 6 young adults (age 22) living in two dwellings with intellectual disabilities who are looking to live more independently. While they are capable and self-sufficient in most daily tasks, they would benefit from some additional support in areas like: -Light housekeeping & meal preparation -Socialization & emotional support -Reminders & assistance with medication management and daily check lists -Transportation to appointments or errands - Social and community activities
