We need help in the evenings for at least a week starting Aug 13 and possibly beyond that. Our 10yr old is on the spectrum with a PDA profile (pathological demand avoidance). He also has anxiety disorder and DMDD. He has an 8yr old brother. He has an extensive team, including two therapists, a DMH Flex Team, IHBS, a psychiatrist who manages his medication, and he goes to a therapeutic day school (W) and has clinical services there. Despite all this support, evenings are still tricky for us. I am having surgery Aug 13 and I will need at least a week before I can re-engage in interventions with him at home. Focused 1-1 adult attention is the best way to help him stay regulated, so we need another adult around in the evenings till I have recovered.
