About the job
Plans individual and group activities to stimulate growth in language, social, and motor skills such as learning to listen to instructions, playing with others, and using play equipment. Instructs children in practices of personally cleanliness and self-care. Alternates periods of gross motor activity with periods of rest or light activity to avoid over-stimulation and fatigue. Helps children develop habits of caring for own clothing and picking up and putting away toys and books, etc. Plan for children's' individual needs and makes necessary referrals. Informs parents of their children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development through individual Teacher-Parent conferences (meetings) and by completing and submitting progress reports on each child
