FT Nanny/Family Assistant Location: Family is relocating from abroad and looking in the Newton, Belmont, Lexington, Winchester area Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10am-6 p.m. Children: 3 and 5 years old Duties: Supporting a family of 4 including engaging the children in age appropriate activities and assisting with light household tasks such as tidying the kitchen, managing the dishwasher, organizing and storing children's clothes, handling family laundry, tidying their rooms while encouraging their participation, and preparing healthy snacks and lunches for the children and their father. Requirements: 3+ years of professional childcare experience including recent experience caring for school-age children and a clean criminal and driving record. We are looking for a nanny who shares the family's values and priorities, including a love for healthy food and cooking, outdoor activities, and a relaxed yet engaging approach to childcare. The ideal candidate will be actively involved in the children's daily lives-planning outings, attending activities, engaging in arts and crafts, and fostering open conversations about their experiences. Providing feedback and collaborating with the parents is essential. A background in Montessori education or further education in childcare is a plus. Must be able to swim. Pets: None Driving/Parking: Driving is required. Must be willing to use own car to transport the children and run errands. Travel: None required Additional Information: Both parents work a hybrid schedule. Compensation: $33-35, guaranteed hours, 4 weeks paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick days and health stipend Start: August 4 or slightly later
