FT Family Assistant Location: Newton, MA Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10am-6 p.m. (can be slightly flexible) Duties: This role involves providing comprehensive household support, including vendor management to ensure cost-effective services, handling household chores such as dishwashing, tidying, and grocery shopping, and assisting with organizing. Responsibilities also include driving the children, managing car maintenance, preparing dinner, providing tech assistance, coordinating holiday cards and gifts, booking travel and supporting vacation home upkeep. Family has a cleaning team who comes 1x per week for deep cleaning and a full-time Nanny who cares for the children ages 2 and 8 years. Requirements: 3+ years of Family Assistant or related professional experience and a clean criminal record. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and able to seamlessly integrate into a dynamic and fluid household. This family values flexibility, enjoys entertaining, and appreciates a multicultural perspective. They are looking for someone who is professional, respectful of personal space, and adds value without being intrusive. The right fit will be helpful and self-sufficient, able to take initiative in organizing and assisting without requiring a lot oversight. Family is looking for a long-term commitment!
