About the job
We're a North Cambridge family with two daughters, ages 3 and 5, seeking a caring afterschool nanny for the fall. Ideally, we'd like to start with occasional babysitting now to build familiarity, transitioning to regular afterschool care in Fall 2025. Compensation will be competitive, based on experience. Start date would be: flexible for occasional babysitting now; early September 2025 for afterschool care. Afterschool care responsibilities will include: school pickup in North Cambridge at 3pm; engaging the girls in fun activities and/or transporting them to classes; bringing them home around 5:30pm; 3-5 days per week. Our ideal candidate is energetic, playful, imaginative; has proven childcare experience (ages 3-6); reliable; non-smoker, good driver, up-to-date on vaccinations, good communicator, and comfortable with dogs.
