Nanny/Family Assistant Location: Cambridge, MA Schedule: Mon, 7-9am, Wed, 12:30pm-6:30pm, Thurs/Fri 7:30am-6:30 p.m. Children: 5 and 7 years old Duties: General childcare including getting children ready for school, preparing breakfast, packing snacks and lunches, engaging the children in age appropriate activities and taking to/from school and activities. Family Assistant duties include children's laundry, general tidying, preparing dinner, grocery shopping, managing returns, daily kitchen clean up, scheduling appointments, and running errands. Family Assistant duties will primarily be completed when the children are in school. Family has a housekeeper who takes care of the deep cleaning. Requirements: 3+ years of professional childcare experience including recent experience caring for school age children, a clean criminal record, a valid driver's license and good driving record. Ideal candidate will be engaging, active, punctual, a team player, and will have a positive and flexible attitude. Family is looking for a long term fit! Pets: 1 dog - senior Poodle - will need to let in/out of yard Driving/Parking: Driver's license required. Must be willing to use own car to transport the children. Off street parking available. Travel: No travel required. Occasional overnights if mom is traveling for work. Compensation: $30-35 per hour, taxes withheld, guaranteed hours, 2 weeks paid vacation, paid sick days, paid holidays, and a health stipend is negotiable Start Date: ASAP
