Full-time Nanny/Household Manager needed in Cambridge for a busy family with three children, ages 5 months, 6, and 11 (all in daycare/school during the day). The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. - 6:30pm, with 35 hours guaranteed weekly. The family would love to find a nanny looking for a long term match (3+ years). A great fit for this family is just as comfortable caring for and working with infants as they are with school age children! Someone patient, communicative, friendly, and nurturing, who will engage in and expand upon the interests of the children. A nanny who enjoys the outdoors and planning fun activities and outings would be great! Regarding household management, an organized, proactive, adaptable, independent, self-starter who can anticipate the needs of a busy family would thrive in this role. Some duties include planning and preparing healthy meals (may include ordering from subscription service), packing school lunches, grocery shopping, keeping inventory of household items, family laundry, and organizational projects for the kids. Driving is required for this role and a car is provided. Parking is available. The family has no pets. Dad works from home 1-2 days per week in a private office located on the third floor of the home. Mom works outside of the home. Compensation: $40/hour with guaranteed hours, three weeks of paid vacation, 9 paid holidays, sick time, and an optional healthcare stipend. All pay is on the books via payroll.
