FT Nanny/Family Assistant Location: Boston, MA (South End) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:30am-5:30 p.m. In September, schedule will shift to 10:30am-6:30 p.m. Children: 1. 5, 4 and 7 years old Duties: General childcare including engaging the children in age appropriate activities and outings, driving to/from school and activities, meal prep, and organizing children's play areas and toys. Family Assistant duties may include laundry, general tidying, loading/unloading dishwasher and running errands. Family Assistant duties are only to be completed when the children are in Mom's care or in school. Family has a housekeeper who takes care of the deep cleaning. Requirements: 3+ years of professional childcare experience including recent experience caring for toddlers and school age children, a clean criminal record, a valid driver's license and good driving record. Ideal candidate will be engaging, active, punctual, a team player, and will have a positive and flexible attitude. Mom actively participates in caring for the children, so the Nanny will only occasionally be responsible for all 3 kids at once. Must also have a valid passport, or willing to get one, and be looking for a long term fit! Family is looking for a true partner in caring for their kids! Pets: 1 dog (Labradoodle) Driving/Parking: Driving is required. Home is T-accessible and parking is available, if needed. Family will provide a vehicle for work-related driving. Travel: Required- approximately 4x/year (international and domestic). Family spends 3 weeks in the summer in Nantucket Nanny can go home on the weekends during this time. Additional Information: Mom is a stay at home parent and will be in and out throughout the day. Oldest child is in school full time, the middle child is in school from 8:30-11:45 AM, and the youngest child will begin school in the mornings starting in Fall 2025. Compensation: $33-36 per hour, taxes withheld, guaranteed hours, 2 weeks paid vacation, paid sick days, paid holidays, and a health stipend Start Date: ASAP
