FT Nanny/Family Assistant Location: MetroWest Boston, MA Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11am-8pm with flexibility to work 3 weekend days per month, with advanced notice given. Children: 5 months old, 3, 5, 8, 10 years old. Family has another FT Nanny who will share in all childcare duties. The 3 older children attend school full-time, and the 3-year old will be in preschool 5 days/week. Duties: Family Assistant duties to be completed during school hours when are care for the children is not required may include, communicating inventory needs for non-food items throughout house (chef will manage groceries), handling packages, managing returns, maintaining organizational systems throughout house, running errands, assisting with updating the family's shared calendar as directed, researching kid outings, camps, etc., assisting with family trip packing and unpacking as needed. These duties will be shared amongst the family's other Nannies and Family Assistant. General childcare duties transitioned to after school include, driving children to after school activities, assisting with homework, engaging with children during downtime, helping with dinner prep and cleanup if chef off. Requirements: 3+ years of professional Nanny/Family Assistant experience, previous experience caring for at least 3 children at the same time, a clean criminal record, and an excellent driving record. Ideal candidate will be highly organized, loving, extremely reliable, proactive, flexible, patient, and discreet. Must have excellent English communication skills and be able to function as part of a team with parents and other household staff (which includes two Nannies, Family Assistant, Property Manager, and Housekeepers/Laundresses). Must have flu vaccination. Experience working with ultra high net-worth families is preferred. Pets: None Driving/Parking: Driving required. Family will provide a car equipped with all necessary child safety seats to use during working hours. Parking is available. Travel: Flexibility to travel with family to Martha's Vineyard for a portion of the summer and to Aspen for 2-3 weeks per year (not necessarily all at one time) Additional Information: Mother is in and out of the house at various points throughout the day and takes an active role in caring for the children as schedule allows. Father works from home in dedicated office space a few days per week. Ideal candidate is able to truly partner with parents and other household staff members to help the children's days runs smoothly. Compensation: $35-40 per hour, taxes withheld, guaranteed hours, 3 weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, and a health insurance stipend. Work cell phone and car provided. Start Date: November, with some flexibility if needed
