Full-time Nanny needed in Back Bay, Boston, for one child, age 19 months, starting in early November. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am-5:30 p.m. with the flexibility to stay to 6 p.m. (1-2 days per week). The family would love to find a nanny looking to grow with their family long term (3+ years)! A great match for this family is nurturing, patient, safety-conscious, firm but loving, active, and proactively plans the day, including lots of outings with their son. Described as a social, active, laid back little guy, their son enjoys playing with his toys, visiting the library, playgrounds, and parks, and going to classes and playdates. The family has a friendly labradoodle so please be dog friendly. Both parents work from home 1-2 days per week in private offices. Travel is not required but a "nice to have." The family does have a second home in Rhode Island where they would ask the nanny to work from 4-5 weeks during the summer months. It is conveniently located near the commuter rail. A driver's license is required. Parking is not available. Compensation: $32+/hour with paid holidays, vacation weeks, and sick time. Guaranteed hours with all pay on the books through payroll.
