Full-time Nanny and Household Manager needed for a busy family in Belmont with two children, ages 7 and 9, starting as soon as possible (but flexible to find the right fit!). The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11am-7pm, with 40 guaranteed hours weekly. There will be opportunities for more hours as the family needs full day coverage on sick days, school vacations, school holidays, later evenings, etc. A great match for this family is a reliable, motivated, proactive, self-starter who is ready to jump in and help out where needed- an organized team player with strong time management who can see what needs to be done and take actionable steps to complete tasks. Household management duties include grocery shopping, running errands, meal planning, prepping, and cooking, packing school lunches, light tidying, and other household support. Regarding childcare, the nanny is responsible for picking the children up from school, driving them to sports and activities, overseeing/supporting homework, planning and engaging in activities and outdoor play, planning/overseeing playdates, and serving/cleaning up after dinner. A great match for the children is playful, fun, outgoing, active, easy going, and takes time to dive into and expand upon their interests while also building meaningful relationships. The kids love visiting their local pool so a nanny who is comfortable in the water is a must. The family has no local family so they are really hoping for the Nanny to join and become part of their family and provide continuity in the children's lives. The family may get a puppy in the next year so please be dog friendly! Travel with the family is not required but would be a great bonus. Compensation: $38/hour with 2 weeks of paid vacations, 12 paid holidays, 5 paid sick days, and an optional healthcare stipend. All pay is on the books via payroll.
