Individual Day Support Staff (15 hours per week) The position is funded by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) MA. Supervisor: Self Direction Participant and Parents We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to support our 29-year-old son with Down Syndrome in enhancing his communication and vocational skills. This role will also involve engaging him in meaningful community activities, personal wellness, and outings to foster his growth, safety, and independence. Due to his limited speech ability (speech apraxia) and certain behavioral challenges, it is essential to promote communication through his augmentative communication device to express his emotions, needs, and wants effectively. He requires supervision at all times.
