I am a single mother that works 12 hr days. My son is newly diagnosed with autism so we're still trying to figure out what works. He just started prek 4 and usually catches the bus to school needs to be to the bus stop at about 7 a.m. he gets off the bus at 2 p.m. And she start and homework (if he has any) and eating supper. He's always hungry when he comes from school. my daughter is 2 and also attends daycare and we try to get her there for about 7:45 and pick her up at about 3:30. She sometimes has homework as well. And is hungry when she gets off from school. I usually get off from work and make it home at about 8 p.m. They've been with their grandparents but they need more structure and support with homework and by the time I get him it's already bed time.
