About the job
Just looking to see what's out there to get an idea, nothing in stone yet. I just landed a job m-f 8-5. I have 2 kids: 8mo & 9yrs. The infant is all day & the school age one would only need after school care. However, he would also need care for snow days or small holidays (I. e. Pres Day) & breaks. I work until 5 but hoping to squeeze in a quick workout after! We currently pay $175/wk for dc but for an individual not sure what that would look like. If you already have a home dc or would like the flexibility of working from home this might be a better situation for you. We don't have nearby relatives and the cost of dc keeps going up to where we cant afford it! I've checked all dc's in the area and either too expensive, don't offer sibling discounts (or still overpriced even w/ discount), no openings or no transport from school.
