Recurring Care For Two Little Ones In St Matthews

About the job

We are looking for care for our 2 young children in our home in the St Matthews area. Mom will be working from home and needs a helping hand with the littles a few hours a week. Responsibilities would include normal baby-care (diapers, bottles, etc), engaging in activities such as crafts, imaginary play, singing, outside time (we have a swing set, water table and fenced in yard), and assisting with snacks & drinks. Our 2. 5 yr old is potty trained but needs some prompting and help toileting and washing hands etc. We prefer no screen time, and lean towards waldorf or montessori style learning methodology. We are looking for someone who is confident, self motivated, and kind hearted to spend time with our little people. Empathy, kindness, and a self motivator. Our 2. 5 is very active and loves to engage in play with toy vehicles, dragons, talking about space and running around the yard kicking a ball. Our 1-year-old is happy to be nearby, exploring the world around her. She loves music, dancing, and giving hugs. The 2. 5-year-old needs potty assistance, some behavioral guidelines, and lots of practice with following directions and working through big toddler emotions. We understand it can be frustrating.
