My 2.5-year-old is moderately autistic and requires assistance throughout the day. He's gaining independence each day, but will not be the same experience as a neurotypical child. He does have a routine, but is flexible as long as he is being stimulated and having fun! We have an indoor playroom as well as live in a great area for outside time. They really love playing on their trampoline, being in their playroom, and generally running around! We suspect he is a level 2 on the ASD as he is verbal, is not violent in any way, and wants to be social!
