The Behavior Project is a locally and BCBA owned/operated ABA provider in Overland Park, KS. We're an innovative early intervention program serving littles on the autism spectrum (ages 2-7) and their families through a play-based therapeutic approach. M-F SCHEDULE: full-time: 8-4:30 part-time: M-F 8-1 or 11-4:30 Highlighted benefits: -paid certification and training for Behavior Technicians & RBTs -self-paced raises -PTO package -paid Holidays -company iPad -health/vision/dental insurance -401-K & match -student loan repayment -guaranteed hours ($$) -small team sizes (more support for you) -M-F daytime schedules (8am-4:30pm) -quarterly all staff trainings Responsibilities: - Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) - Collect and record data on client progress and behavior - Assist with skill acquisition programs, including communication, social skills, and daily living skills - Maintain a safe, FUN, and supportive environment for clients Skills: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to follow directions and implement behavior intervention plans - Patience and compassion when working with children - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Attention to detail and ability to accurately collect data Please note that previous experience as a Behavior Technician or working with individuals with ASD is preferred but not required.
