I am a professional who is trying to find respite care for a child I work with. She does have a rare genetic condition but does not have any medical devices. She is 2 1/2 non-verbal and does not yet walk. She has episodes when her body becomes paralyzed (one half of her body or sometimes both sides). When she is having an episode she can be harder to calm and will need to have pediasure from a bottle rather than eating. She is not potty trained. She has funding for respite through the CDDO
