Newborn We are a nontoxic household! While there are lots of stereotypes around this lifestyle, we have found it to increase the well-being of everyone in our family. We would never expect our care giver to completely change their lifestyle outside of our house, however this would mean using the cleaning supplies we provide when needed in our home, changing reusable diapers on our newborn, and refraining from wearing heavily scented lotions or perfumes in our home or around our baby. This is our first child, and he will be a newborn as we bring in a nanny, so he won't be extremely active. Because of this we are absolutely comfortable with our caregiver doing homework while he naps if necessary, or even some minimal screen time if it comforts him. When warm enough we would love for you to take him on some walks around the neighborhood and just overall keep him happy and healthy while we are at work! He will be a newborn, so he will be completely dependent on his caregiver. We will expect you to be comfortable giving him a bottle, burping him, providing him with tummy time, laying him down for naps, bathing when needed and diaper changes. We're looking for someone who is a calm and bright presence in our home. We believe kids can pick up on people energies and can feed off of others negativity or stress. To be with a newborn a person has to be a good balance of structured and go with the flow. If you think this could be you, we would love to meet you! We live in a neighborhood, easily accessible so you can park in our driveway and walk on sidewalks when needed. We have two doggos that are very much part of the family! Our first is Louie, he is a 4-year-old labradoodle-schnauzer mix. He is super loving with a bit of an attitude when he needs his independence. Not an aggressive bone in his body, he will be your very best friend. However, he is a flight risk, so you have to make sure he does not sneak out of any open door or back yard gate. He's an escape artist so definitely keep an eye on him if you ever need to venture outside. Our second is Oliver, he is a 3-year-old rescue border collie- Aussie shepherd mix. He is extremely playful and extremely protective of our family members. Because of his abusive past he does not usually do well with men he does not know, and he will definitely let you know when someone comes near the house. Once he knows your scent and sees that you are one of us he will love you forever!
