About the job
My wife and I have a WLF house between Sagamore and the Purdue campus, no pets, and an 8. 5-month-old. My wife is a professor, and I was recently given a big 1 year contract job offer that is going to put me in California 6 of 7 days of the week. Our (ranked) priorities are: 1) Babysitting coverage that can that can pull him out of daycare in the event of illness on weekdays, then hold on to him until my wife can get away from her lab/teaching. We could negotiate some sort of retainer or an emergency/surge pricing rate. We have a month and a half for scouting/trial bookings before I start leaving town and we need this locked in. 2) Simple, stable weekend shifts from a trusted sitter with only 1 parent in town. 3) Short weekday sessions that would be a combined mother's helper role and daycare carpool for mornings and evenings.
