I have a 4-year-old with special needs. He does have high functioning autism and is non verbal. His two sisters still need supervision as well, but they can basically do everything for themselves. They all love to play outdoors, especially the park. We have one a block away that is also a splash pad in the summer. They are into music and crafts. Their ideal day is getting up in the morning ( No specific time ) and having breakfast. After breakfast, they will wash up for the day and get dressed. After that, I usually set up some crafts for them to do and put out some snacks. Between 12-1 p.m. I like to have lunch ready, or have them help make lunch. After that we go outside if the weathers nice and go play. We do not have a nap time schedule but if any of them seem tired before 3pm, I usually have them lay down or watch a movie and relax.
