My schedule will only be needed during my kids school breaks. We have a cat (Bella) as well as a German/ Australian Shepard mix dog (Timber). While I am away at work, Timber will need to be taken outside in our yard at least once. You are more than welcome to have him out of his cage but if he gets too overwhelming, it is okay to put him back in his cage. We have a first aid kit if ever needed as well as emergency numbers listed for contact. We are a very minimal rule household but our children know boundaries, and know right from wrong (most of the time, they're 4).
