About the job
My husband and I are looking for a part-time sitter/nanny for our 2 toddlers. My son is 3 and my daughter is 18 months. I'm a restaurant manager who works a varying schedule. My husband just got a job working for Elkhart county, which is a regular 8-5 schedule. I will do my best to communicate any changes with as much notice as possible. Some days, we will only need someone for a few hours. Other days, we will need help all day until my husband comes home. Essentially, the right person for this position needs to thrive in ambiguity. There may be some light housekeeping, preparing meals and snacks, cleaning up after food prep. I won't ask for a spotless house, but I will ask that you do your best to either prevent crazy messes or, at least, clean up the majority of the toys played with during the day.
