About the job
A recently widowed mother needs full-time support for two children - 5 and 6 years old. The youngest goes to preschool 5 days a week, and the older goes to a nearby elementary school. This is a full-time position (40 hours a week) with live-in support as an option. Hours/days can be negotiated for the right fit for the family. Must have experience and strengths in establishing structure and schedules for children who are easily distracted. The right caregiver will love children and cats, and be firm yet kind and caring. Light housekeeping and meal prep are expected as well, but not the primary focus of this role. Final candidates will be interviewed and will have an opportunity to visit the home and family to ensure a good fit.
