Job Description: Willowbrook family seeking a dependable and experienced nanny for an infant. Start January 2025. Compensation: $27-$28/hr. + vacation, holidays, and PTO. Schedule: Guaranteed 30 hours a week. Monday/Thursday: 7:30am-6:30pm, Tuesday OR Wednesday: 8:30am-5:30 p.m. Can be flexible for more hours if needed. Job Details and Responsibilities: Primary care is for an infant (2. 5mo). Responsibilities include all care of the child: feeding (bottles and switching to solids when age appropriate), monitoring and facilitating naps, bathing, if needed, developmentally appropriate play with the child, assisting with milestones, changing diapers. Light housekeeping includes tidying and organizing toys, washing/sterilizing bottles, child laundry. Family has two dogs, and Nanny should be comfortable with pets and letting the dogs out in the backyard if needed (family has a dog walker for care during the day). Qualifications: Nanny should have extensive verifiable experience working with infants. Should be knowledgeable of infant care and safety. Nanny should be warm and caring. Will be able to foster a positive relationship with the child and the family. Nanny should be self-sufficient. Will be able to plan activities and keep track of children's needs. Nanny should be pro-active about completing tasks. Reliable and communicative. Able to communicate well and be receptive to feedback. Nanny should be well-versed and knowledgeable about creating healthy sleep routines, transitioning to solid foods, and child development. COVID, Flu, and TDAP vaccinations are required.
