Hi! I'm looking for a part time nanny for my 4. 5-month-old daughter. This would mostly involve care for the baby, but on occasion would love some help with light house work or running a quick errand while I have the baby. I work from home and my husband works overnights, so we will both be home while you're here. Ideally we'd like to have someone from 11 a.m. to 6 pm, Tuesday through Thursday, but are open to discussing hours. I'm looking for someone experienced with infants who is comfortable helping my baby hit her milestones, feeding (will be doing baby led weaning at 6 months), and recognizing her hunger and sleep cues. We do have a very friendly dog, but you won't be responsible for him. We'd like someone who is CPR certified, a non smoker, and has reliable transportation. We can't wait to hear from you! Open communication, honesty and transparency, building strong foundations/bonds for our baby, acceptance of all walks of life. She's learning how to roll, has found her feet and her voice, she loves our dog and being outside. She loves cuddles and contact naps, baths, and music. She is learning so many new things every day and just needs support as she grows. She needs someone who is aware of developmental milestones and can help her thrive! Patience; experience with infants; ability to recognize hunger/sleep cues; comfortability in reading, singing, playing with baby; acceptance of parents preferred parenting methods; open communication There is a metro stop close by, but several mile walk. We have plenty of parking in our driveway. We have a 70 lb dog, a Plott hound mix, who is very friendly and will mostly just lounge all day. He's an older guy and is pretty low maintenance so you wouldn't have to do anything with him unless you wanted to take him on walks with the baby.
