About the job
I'm a solo parent, my husband died two years ago from cancer. Every day I'm in awe of our kids and how strong they are. I'm a nurse, I work three 12-hour shifts per week. If there's a day you need off it's not hard to swap with a coworker. All three kids play piano, and my oldest also plays the flute. They love being outside. We love board games and movie nights. We love Nerf wars. They need reminders about cleaning up before moving onto the next thing. We're looking for someone to become part of our family. Someone that will "fill my shoes" when I can't be here. Someone special that will help them become good humans. Someone they can talk to and laugh with. We do need someone with their own car because you'll need to drive to/from after school activities.
