About the job
Seeking live-in housemate for my son. David is 32, has autism, can take care of himself in many ways but has limited language so needs caregivers. A lovely young couple are his current caregivers but will move on by March. The monthly stipend includes extra money to cover the rent and essentials for David. Other staff work with David from 9-2 on weekdays, so that time is mostly your own, plus you get 5 hours/week additional time off, and 2 weeks of vacation/year. This housing arrangement is through a partnership with EP! C, an organization that supports people with special needs to live as independently as possible. David is a sweet guy who just needs extra assistance to live as independently as possible.
