About the job
A bit about us: We are a family of 4 with 2 toddler boys. We are in need of part-time care. Mom and Dad both work full time with Mom working from home part-time and are unable to stay home on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We have a dog, a Great Dane mix, whom we adore! When we are not working, you can often find us at the park or out for a walk when the weather is nice. We are big on family and spend a lot of our free time with the boys grandparents and aunt and uncles wherever we can. What we are looking for: You are experienced in working with toddlers and can be a calming force of care for this new Mom and Dad. You know how to interact with a 3 and 1-year-old and can keep them engaged. You have the patience it takes to work with toddlers. Overall you are compassionate and caring. Job Duties: Arrive at 630a and jump into wherever they might be in their schedule. For meals, they aren't picky. They love donuts, noodles and everything fruit snacks! Engage in age-appropriate when they are awake. You can take them outside when the weather is decent for walks around the neighborhood. While they are sleeping, we would love if some light housekeeping would be done. Cleaning up the living room, loading the dishwasher, emptying diaper pails if needed. No driving is required.
