Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries, Inc., located in Dundee, IL, operates a maternity home for women in crisis pregnancies who are moving toward independent living. Our program provides opportunities to develop effective life skills, complete or continue education, improve financial position, learn positive parenting and more. RLOM is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. As the Relief Residential Manager, you would be on duty three evenings per week from 3:30pm- 7:30 p.m. You will be present with our residents to provide a positive, safe, and orderly living environment for all. To that end, you will be responsible for the evening operation of the household. This includes oversight of the family dinner meal and supervision of evening chores. Qualifications: - Be a mature Christian woman able to maintain composure with people in emotional situations. - Formal or informal experience working with pregnant women and postpartum period highly recommended. - Must have a valid in state driver's license, clean driving record. Skills: - Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple priorities. - Organize, plan and prioritize responsibilities. - Interpersonal Skills - Time Management - Nutritional knowledge and cooking skills are preferred but not necessary. Areas of Responsibility: - Informal emotional support of women throughout their pregnancy and postpartum period - Be a resource in areas of personal care, household duties, and health and wellbeing of both mother and baby. - Report non-compliance issues to the full-time Residential Manager. The pay rate is $15 per hour.
