About the job
**This is a come-and-go position.** This busy and social family has a 1. 5-year-old girl and is seeking a friendly, flexible and knowledgeable Nanny to stay with their family long-term. This is a very kind an easy going family. Duties include: get child ready for the day (dressed, brush teeth, etc.), prepare healthy meals and snacks for child, bathe child as needed, drive child to/from preschool and other activities, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with child, read books, sing songs, teach letters, numbers, colors, etc., take to parks, playgrounds, museums, library, classes, swimming, etc., do child's laundry, keep child's room and play areas neat and tidy, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher and for evenings where the nanny is working-bedtime routine--dinner, bath, pajamas, brush teeth, book, bed. Nanny should be experienced and knowledgeable with this age range and be creative with coming up with ideas on things to do with child that are for her age and development. The ideal candidate will be active, loving, tidy and a team-player. Dad works from home half of the time. Mom is home and is typically in and out of the home. There will be times where Nanny will go to places with parents, so nanny should be comfortable with that. There is also a full-time housekeeper, weekend nanny and a dog walker (comes a few times a day) at this home. **Travel: Family travels often (about 6 times per year) and would like the Nanny to come with them. This would be a mix of domestic and international travel. Some short trips (a few days) and some longer trips (2 weeks). NOTE: Bonus is paid for longer trips. Work days and hours: Monday - Friday: 50-60 hours per week. Nanny must be flexible with the schedule may shift week to week. **NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car to drive child. Family has 2 small dogs--both are hypoallergenic Salary: $30-$35 per hour, which is $1, 500 - $2, 100 per week.
