Direct Support Person

Looking For A Special Education Tutor In Chicago. Chicago family needs a part-time tutor/direct support person during class at UIC. Person will work directly with my 19-year-old daughter who has Autism. She is a CO-OP student at the University of Illinois at Chicago and will be starting her 2nd year with the program very soon! General Responsibilities: Attend classes during the week Assist student with staying on task in class Assist with notetaking and/or securing notes from peer Ensure assignments are turned in on time Creating a study guide, flash cards and other material Assist with technology UIC's Blackboard including uploading assignments Help remember where key items are saved on technology Communication and social support Key Skills: Some experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
