I wanted to share some information about my daughter, who has high-functioning autism. She will be a sophomore at ISU this fall. While she is very smart, she struggles with executive functioning skills and will need some support as she transitions to living in a single apartment. 3 to 4 times a week, one hour at a time. This past year, she had an aide, but that person will be graduating and leaving. She will need assistance about 3 to 4 times a week for about an hour each time. The schedule can be flexible and worked out between you and her based on what fits both of your needs. The support she requires includes help with cleaning her apartment, organizing her space, meal prepping, laundry, and someone who can listen to her and help her sort through any issues she may be facing. Part time 25 an hour 3 to 4 hours a week.
