I'm looking to hire a mother's helper for a few hours a day. I would like for this person to be comfortable with caring for one, two, or all of my children in my home, with or without me there, for 3-4 hours at a time. The caregiver needs to be friendly, kind, and a good communicator. I need someone who will take initiative while I am at home but also be exact in following any instructions I might have. She may need to transport one or more of my children to and/or from different activities. She needs to be able to interact with my small children in ways that positively affect their relationship with her and their own development. She may also be asked to plan and direct engaging pre-school level activities and help with light housework such as loading the dishwasher, cleaning up after meals, tidying etc. and preparing snacks or lunches.
