We really only need someone there so the kids aren't alone when we go out for a date. The 3-year-old will already be in bed, and the girls (6 and 8) will be ready for bed and then need to go to bed around 8:30. Then you can just watch TV or whatever you like until we get home. Both kids' rooms have baby monitors.
