About the job
We are seeking a reliable and caring part-time nanny for our infant on Tuesdays and Thursdays in our home in Urbandale, IA from 8:00-5:30 p.m. Additional hours may be available on an occasional basis, with advance notice. Start date end of May/early June. Responsibilities include: 1) Provide attentive and loving care including feeding, diaper changing and soothing; 2) Engage in developmentally appropriate activities (e. g. reading, tummy time, outdoor walks); 3) Maintain a clean and safe environment for the baby; 4) Follow any specific feeding/nap schedules and house rules; 5) Communicate openly and regularly with parents about the baby's activities, milestones and any concerns; 6) Adhere to any special instructions/preferences regarding childcare routines and practices; 7) Assist with light housekeeping tasks during nap times.
