Encourage assistants to contribute to curriculum planning Manage the behaviors of the children while providing engaging activities. Meet the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive needs of each child Ensure the safety of the children on a daily basis by providing supervision and direction. Hold the responsibility of reporting suspected child abuse and handling injuries or emergencies with the kids. Communicate with all parents on a regular basis, alerting them to any abnormal behaviors. Keep records on the children and assess their skills periodically.
