My wife has a standard work schedule, while mine is more variable but offers some flexibility. I often start early, leave mid-day to work remotely, and sometimes return later once my wife's workday is over. However, there may be days when a full workday is needed. Our 8-month-old is pleasant, inquisitive, and developing right on track. She has received excellent care with family support, but we've now hit a gap in coverage. We're looking for childcare for about eight weeks and will reassess after that.
