Location: Ala Moana, Honolulu, HI Start Date: September 28th, 2024 End Date: November 22nd, 2024 Child's Age: 15-month-old son Schedule: Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (slightly flexible for the right candidate) Compensation: $25 per hour Minimum of 40 hours per week guaranteed Legal payroll with taxes and deductions handled by the agency Benefits: Paid vacation days Paid sick days Paid holidays Family Overview The family resides in the beautiful Ala Moana area, near Magic Island, and is looking for an experienced and dependable full-time nanny to care for their 15-month-old son. They are a close-knit family living across from the mall. The family is seeking someone with extensive experience caring for children in the toddler stage (at least 10 years of experience), who can confidently manage their son's daily routine, support his growth, and provide him with enriching activities both at home and outside, including visits to the playground and spots like Kid City and bookstores. Their son doesn't have allergies, they do not have any pets, and food preparation will not be involved in this role, but tidying up after the child's playtime and meals is expected. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is energetic, patient, and passionate about working with young children. The family values a nanny who can provide autonomy in their caregiving approach but is also open to clear and continuous communication with the parents. The family prefers a candidate who is experienced, reliable, and nurturing, with a minimum of 10 years of childcare experience, particularly with toddlers. While the ability to communicate in American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus, it is not a mandatory requirement. The family values candidates who are proactive, organized, and capable of handling day-to-day tasks related to childcare.
