Looking for someone consistent to help care for my son until he gets into a daycare for daytime, but will need help with some evenings as well as weekends sparingly. He's 3 years old & loves being outside, reading, playing, doing activities, coloring, & talking non-stop. He knows his manners & for the most part well behaved. He's 3 so he has his moments of melt downs and high energy. He listens well and responds well to calm reactions. I'd like to meet first & make sure he's comfortable with you before hiring. Using manners such as: please, thank you, no thank you, yes please, yes/no ma'am, yes/no sir, inside voice while inside or at stores or libraries. Calm reactions No physical discipline: we use words to help him figure his emotions out, we have him take 3 deep breaths to calm his nervous system to help him talk , he may be put in the corner or his bed until he calms down so we can discuss what he did wrong & why we don't do such things. He loves: being outside, going to the library, playing with toys, coloring, doing workbook activities, playing with play-doh, playing on his tablet sparingly, watching tv, painting, cutting/glueing, & eating Favorite shows: Paw patrol, Super Kitties, Bluey, Blues Clues, Special Agent Oso, Super Why, Little Einstein, Rubble & Crew, Bubble Guppies, Pj Mask, Blippi, Peppa Pig, Team Umizoomi, Doc Mcstuffins Favorite Movies: Anything with minions, Zootopia, Bug Hero 6, Monster House, Robots, Happy Feet, Paw Patrol & Paw Patrol Mighty Movie, All Kungfu Pandas, Hotel Transylvania Lots of PATIENCE. He's 3, so he needs help slowing down, focusing, as well as being able to wait until something's ready or it's his turn. He waits for the most part but he has his moments of course. Calm reactions Able to stay moving consistently Plan some activities & keep him engaged Lots of Patience It has parking, but no public transit. Personally we just have fish, but in the house are 2 kittens & a 6-year-old friendly female pit bull. They aren't mine , you won't have to take care of any animals, nor should my son be playing with them just because he's a little to rough sometimes & not able to fully understand how to be gentle and calm with them yet.
