About the job
Seeking a patient and compassionate caregiver for 3 y/o girl & 7 y/o girl on Autism Spectrum (occasional split schedule). Ideal candidate is understanding of and experienced with special needs children, creative, & enjoys sing-alongs, arts & crafts, and outdoor time, Normal Schedule is M-F 6:30-9 a.m. and 2:00- 7 p.m. Additional hrs may be required when school/daycare is not in session. Hours may change with advance notice based upon family needs w/advance notice. Duties include transportation to/from daycare & outings (on occasion); assisting children with daily living activities; planning & conducting educational and play activities; keeping common areas of the home clean, doing the children's laundry, and assisting with meal prep. Other requirements: strong commitment to health and safety measures, first-aid/CPR training, & references.
