Full Time Nanny

Our family believes in treating all individuals with respect, including children. We use Montessori principles in our daily lives as much as possible. We believe that at a young age, learning comes through meaningful engagement with the world around them in as minimally restrictive a way as we can (while still maintaining firm boundaries and staying safe!). On a more fun note, we are a very musically oriented family and baby and mom love to read! H. loves books, his trucks, going for walks on his stroller and playing his guitar. He really loves books though; he'll ask to read his books over and over again! H. is 14 months old and just in the process of learning to walk. As such, he needs support to do pretty much anything. Patient with a 14-month-old who hasn't had too much interaction outside the family unit. We prefer a nanny without children and who is looking to be a full-time nanny for us with optional babysitting hours on the side. H. has a heart condition that doesn't affect his daily care but does mean we have to be careful to not get him sick. Our home has parking in the driveway. We have two dogs, a Great Dane who is 3 yo and a golden retriever who is 8 months old. The Great Dane is lazy and scared but will bark. The golden retriever is a puppy and therefore insane but very friendly.
