We have a position open for an assistant teacher as the 4th teacher in our Infant classroom for our Quality Rated Child Care Center! You read that right, 4 teachers, because not only do we expect the best for our staff but also our children! We have low ratios in our class so our teachers can be engaging, supportive, and have great relationships with the children and families. The details? You work Monday through Friday 11-6:30 with a 30-minute break, so 35 hours a week. We can be a little flexible on the start time if you are in school but need you until 6:30 pm every day. You have to be energetic, kind, respectful, and on time! We will teach you the rest. Caring for our youngest tiny human is very rewarding and fun! We are the Center that can help you earn a degree in Early Childhood Education through scholarships!! More info? Responsibilities and Duties Shift hours 11:00-6:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Working with students aged 6 weeks to 12 months. Following lesson plans and newsletters based on GELDS and Discovery Point's Curriculum. Communicating with parents and management Working cooperatively with other teachers Creating a clean and organized environment for children to learn in a quality childcare setting No late nights or weekends! Qualifications and Skills Prefer experience working with children or a teacher in a childcare setting High school diploma and a certificate or degree in early childhood- CDA, TCC/TCD, associate degree or bachelor's degree OR willing to enroll in the first 6 months. Experience with Quality Rated would be awesome.
