Daycare Assistant Teacher

We are an early-intervention childcare center providing an early learning environment with low student to teacher ratios. We will accept all children regardless of diagnosis or special circumstances ages 6 weeks through 5 years old. We offer a tailored experience for all children. Requirements: Must be 16 or older Background check, Fingerprinting, Other CPR/FIRST Aid certified (preferred but not necessary as a to start) Candidate will be responsible for aiding the lead teacher in caring of children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age in a mixed environment. Candidate will be responsible for aiding in teaching developmentally appropriate educational material to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age under guidance from our Special Education Teacher and Lead Teacher. Must have a passion for children Maintains a classroom environment which promotes active learning At times, will help with daily classroom routines, including distributing and collecting supplies, keeping attendance records, setting up meals, etc. Adheres to Emmy's Academy policies and procedures Uses appropriate judgment to always act in the best interest of students Maintain an orderly learning environment Share routine duties with other staff (supervision on playground, toileting, cleanup, classroom maintenance) Assist in keeping room and other areas neat and clean Interact with children in activities he/she is supervising Perform appropriate hand washing and sanitizing procedures Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents Patient demographics: Ages ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old. Skills: - Experience in early childhood education or related field - Familiarity with daycare operations and best practices - Ability to work effectively with young students in a classroom setting - Strong classroom management skills - Previous experience in babysitting, preschool, or similar roles is a plus - Knowledge of behavior management techniques for young children - Passion for educating and nurturing young learners - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Team player with strong leadership abilities If you are dedicated to providing quality care and education to young children, we invite you to apply for the Daycare Teacher position.
