About the job
We are a family of working professionals. Our special needs son is 27 years old and has Angelman Syndrome. He is a very healthy and happy young man. He is non-verbal, non-ambulatory, but he can transfer from a wheelchair to other chairs with assistance. He needs assistance with feeding and self care. He has his own handicap wing/suite in our home. We have support equipment that helps us care for him more easily. We are looking for someone to care for him on weekday afternoons/evenings and on some weekend days (weekends are optional based on your availability). Plenty of time to study, read, etc. Position could range between 20-30 hours per week based on your availability.
