25h Caregiver Position

We are Atlanta's only coworking space with on-site childcare. Our childcare is a small mixed age group of max. 10 children ranging in age from 0 to 3 years and a staff: child ratio of 1:5. We are looking for an experienced, reliable caregiver who has the qualifications, skills, and passion to provide excellent early childhood education for the children in our care. We strive to create an environment following the Montessori philosophy that nurtures children's creativity, independent thinking, teamwork, empathy, fairness, and care for one another. We emphasize free play and educational playful activities both indoors and outdoors. Our caregivers serve as guiding anchors and role models, supporting children as they navigate their learning journey. Responsibilities: Create a prepared environment that promotes independent learning and exploration Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and self-expression Guide and support children in their daily activities, including practical life skills, sensorial exploration, language development, and cultural subjects according to their developmental stage Observe and assess each child's progress, maintaining records and providing feedback to parents or guardians. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, empathy, and cooperation. Qualifications: Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development Associate Certification Experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with parents and coworkers Understanding of the Montessori philosophy and its application in early childhood education (or willingness to obtain) CPR/First Aid certification Comprehensive Background Check We are open Monday through Friday 8. 30 a.m. to 12. 30 p.m. as well as Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1. 30 p.m. to 5. 30 p.m. More information can be found at www.heinschhouse.com
