Afterschool Nanny - Brookhaven, GA 30319 Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. The family are flexible on shifting the hours a bit (say, 3-7pm) or adding extra hours each week (say, 1-6pm) if the nanny needs, just ask! The boys need to be picked up from school at 3 p.m. Compensation: $25-$33ph and guaranteed hours. Benefits: Benefits include paid vacation, personal/sick days, federal holidays paid and off. A nanny vehicle can be provided for on-duty hours. Start Date: The nanny can start as early as Nov 18th or as late as Dec 2nd. The parents are looking for a long term nanny! Ages of Children: 11-year-old and 13-year-old boys. The family are looking for a nanny who will be a part of the family for the long term. They have had nannies in previous years when living in other states who they still speak with and love. They enjoy having a nanny who is a part of the family unit and building relationships over the years! Both parents commute for their jobs and need a reliable nanny who can pick the boys up from school and manage any afterschool activities. Their neighborhood is very friendly and the boys ride their bikes to have play dates with other friends on the street - the neighbors are very close and friendly. The nanny is welcome to let the boys play at their play dates while she hangs back at the house to prepare dinner or turn over their laundry. This is a warm and relaxed position and the family are primarily looking for a nanny who enjoys working with children and loves engaging in play. One of the boys is on the Autism Spectrum. He is verbal, cheerful and social! He loves music and making new friends. The nanny doesn't need to have had experience working with children on the spectrum, just someone who knows he may require a little different communication style. The other child loves sports and building things! Both siblings get along great and never fight. You can tell they have a brotherly bond. They are excited to meet their new nanny! Pets: One 20lb dog is in the home. It would be great if the nanny could let the dog out once a day, but not required. Requirements: Comfortable working around a dog. Valid driver's license. Minimum 3 years professional childcare experience.
