Our daughter simply likes to be engaged. Her ideal day has her up by 730, then breakfast (were getting her used to solids right now), followed by a morning walk, she takes her first nap. After that, we play it by ear but we try to read a book every day and get her outside as much as possible. Screen time is fine, and is always something educational and age appropriate.
